Although larger equipment will require another type of battery, the zinc-carbon battery is revolutionary and is superior to it's predecessors due to it's small size, portability, lack of leaking, and long duration. This battery will greatly help fuel inventions of the early twentieth century like the lightbulb and the telephone.
